The newest addition to the Miss Mobile Disco family, Mim really brings the feel-good vibes to every set she plays. Expect soulful selections served with a side of big disco moments, nonstop dancefloor energy from start to finish!
Alongside DJing, Mim is also involved in some gorgeous community-led projects. She’s part of Glasgow Community Sauna, a queer-led wellness space built around sustainability, community, and accessibility—she’s also a passionate forager, sharing her love of wild food through community walks and workshops.

Hiya Mim! We’re so excited to have you join the Miss Mobile Disco family. Where does your love of music come from?
I was obsessed with my radio growing up (and still am!). Forth One Top 40 every Friday night. But these days I mostly listen to BBC1Xtra, Sunny Govan, NTS and 6Music.
Can you remember the first album you ever bought?
I was a child of the 90s, so it had to be The Spice Girls first album Spice. Still know all the lyrics and dance moves to this day!
What’s a song that instantly takes you somewhere else, and where does it take you?
Nowhere to Run by Martha Reeves and The Vandellas. I saw them when I was 16 in the old ABC on Sauchiehall Street, incredible superstars in their sequined gowns. Felt like being in the presence of true royalty! I’ve still got the signed ticket stub.
What’s been your favourite moment to witness while DJing?
The first time I experienced a hundred people clutching each other while belting out Angels by Robbie Williams. A sea of kilts in the grounds of a stunning Elgin castle, truly joyous!
Imagine your favourite artist or celeb couple are getting married and you’re the DJ. First of all, who are they 👀, and what are you playing to kick the party off?!
I am obsessed with Dolly Parton, and we need more weddings centring sparkly white cowboy boots! I’d open the night with Chappell Roan, Hot To Go! because you know Dolly loves this new generation of queer country stars.
Three generations on the dancefloor. Do you have a “secret-weapon-go-to-track” to keep everyone grooving?
Footloose by Kenny Loggins always gets absolutely everyone jiving on the dancefloor and belting out the chorus!
What kind of requests do you secretly love getting?
That secret niche favourite tune of the couple that they didn’t tell me about! Luckily their best friend from primary school remembers, and everyone knows every word. It’s what the music means to each couple that makes it all so special.
What’s a song that never (ever!) fails to get you bopping?
You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real) by Sylvester. The pure glitter energy of that 70s disco sound, sends me straight to Studio 54! And discovering their incredible life story as a gender queer artist living and organising in San Francisco during the AIDS crisis made me adore this song even more.
